I am using the WYSIWYG Web Browser (
http://www.wysiwygwebbrowser.com) that has an MP3 player "extension" that uses your player. It works just fine using the extension and with direct HTML changes. However, when I use either method on a large MP3 file (
http://www.bsfreemusic.com/songs/awake_ ... narchy.mp3 for example), the player is very slow (which makes sense for a large file), but it also stops playing at a random number of seconds into the file. Sometimes 6 seconds...sometimes as much as 18 seconds. Then...clicking PLAY again...seems to hang the browser (IE7) but it is actually the player doing something. Since the player doesn't seem to have a "downloading" progress option...I assume it is attempting to play the MP3 in a streaming manner. That in itself may be the problem.
If so...is there a way to download the MP3 prior to play starting?
If so...is there a way to show the download progress?
If this is not the issue...do you have any suggestions I can try?
I am a computer programmer, so, anything you want me to try...I can and will. I'd really like to use your player. It fits best for the project I am working on.
Sincerely,
Mark Witten
